The Extended Learning Center (ELC) is a fee supported program operated by Lake County Schools and it does not discriminate in its enrollment on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, handicap or national origin. All ELC staff members are LCSB employees and are CPR/FA trained. Children in grades KG-5 (KG-8 Aurelia Cole & Lake Pointe Academy) and currently attending 1 of the 22 District-Operated School with an ELC program are eligible to attend.
Enrollment is limited and spaces will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis. The registration process is not complete until registration and the first week’s tuition is paid.
All past-due balances and Non-Sufficient Funds checks must be paid prior to registration.- $30 Registration Fee Per Student
- $105 Weekly Fee Per Student
Discounts for eligible assistance programs, including specific district summer learning programs, are available. Parents of NEW students must provide proof of eligibility prior to receiving a discount. Reduced rates will continue to apply for students who attended ELC during the 2023-2024 school year. - Discounts are also available for families with 3 or more students on the same account and attending from the same household.
- Additional financial assistance may be available.
Parents will be emailed with the status as to whether the children have a slot or have been put on a waiting list.
